A Message from the President

Greeting Fellow Lions,

We've been hearing a lot about “change” from politicians and pundits lately, so perhaps you won't be surprised to learn that the Lakeville Lions are making a few changes.

We are changing our dinner meeting location. Beginning with the September Dinner Meeting on Tuesday, September 23, we will be meeting at the Lakeville United Methodist Church on U.S. 31 in Lakeville. We are making this change to avoid a rent increase at the Newton Center. We will continue to work with the Newton Center on projects and events which benefit the Lakeville community.

We are changing the way we recruit new members. Membership chairman Lion Jim Foster and his committee are planning a pancake breakfast and information session for prospective members. We need you to provide us with the names and addresses of prospective members. Just fill out the Prospective Members form and bring it to the September dinner meeting.

Yours in Lionism,
Lion Paul Russell
