The line-up of officers for the 2010-2011 year will remain the same as for this year. The second reading will take place at the Dinner Meeting on Tuesday, March 23, and will be voted on at the April Dinner Meeting. Come and support your officers.

This month's Dinner Meeting will include a presentation of goals and vision by our own District Governor Elect Lion Paul Russell. I will give a brief update on where we are at meeting the goals I set up for the current year. Congrats to Lion Paul! Please support him as he outlines his plan to help Lionism in our district.

If you are not on the permanent Dinner list and want to attend the Dinner Meeting, please contact Lion Jean Barlow by Sunday, March 21 for reservations.

Our Good Friday Fish Fry is coming soon. Lion Sharon Feitz is in charge. Conact Lion Sharon to see how you can help.

Our April Dinner Meeting will consist of a Chili Cook-Off. There will be an opportunity for you to show off your chili-making skills. Please contact Lion Rose Russell for details.

The Indiana Lions State Convention will be held April 22-25 in South Bend. We are hosting the Friday Night Dinner at the Newton Center. Please plan to attend. Contact me or Lion Rose Russell for more information.

Our club is growing! The new members will be inducted this month. Chuck Gaines, Regina Edwards and Sherry Kubisiak are all employees of KeyBank, Lakeville Branch. Be sure to make them welcome. Their addition puts our membership in the mid 90s.

District Governor Bill Wallace has asked me to plan a picnic at The Cove in May. The date is Saturday, May 8 at 4:30pm. Cost for meal and game is only $15. This event is for all of District 25-G. Contact me by May 1 if you can attend and need more details. I have scheduled our own club picnic at The Cove for July 23 at 6:30pm. More details to follow.

Continue to keep Lion Rose Culp in your prayers. She had heart surgery and at last report is doing well.

I am very sad to announce that Lions Larry and Jan Dimick will be leaving Lakeville and our Lions Club. They have been reassigned to churches in Batesville and Rushville, IN. Larry and Jan: You will be missed by all of us.

Continue to support our Afghanistan Marine Project. Please drop off supplies at my shop so we can mail them out.
